Employee Wellness 

What does your Cardiovascular Profile Look Like?

On March 3, 2017, Denison Employee Wellness will bring the Employee Health Screens back to campus during the Annual Employee Wellness Fair.   The screening process gives individuals a current cardiovascular profile.

Wellness Screens involve a finger stick and results include:  Triglyceride level, Cholesterol – both HDL and LDL,  and Glucose.

We are pleased to announce that Meg Galipault was appointed Denison’s new director of foundation and corporate relations in September 2016. In this position, she will research and identify prospects that align with Denison’s funding priorities, collaborate with stakeholders to define projects, and write proposals to request support.

South African STEM Educator Residency

From April 9-16, Denison will host the founder of the Maths and Sciences Leadership Academy of Kimberley South Africa, Anne Maclean, and her two colleagues, Martie Venter, MSLA Academic Coordinator and Mandisa Lebitso, Math Coordinator and Teacher Training, Pioneers Program.

Anne Maclean and her colleagues will spend the week at Denison visiting classes, engaging with faculty, and the community.

Gilpatrick Center Notes

We are pleased to announce that Denison has been named a “Top Producer of Fulbright Students” for the current Fulbright class. Hopefully we will repeat this success next year with our 9 semi-finalists! We also have a Truman finalist who will be going for her interview in April.   We thank faculty for all the work you do to help steer our talented students to the Gilpatrick Center and ask that you will continue to do so.
