Hello all, on January 23rd, Denison celebrates Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! Denison honors the legacy of Dr. King with a day of service, workshops, and a riveting performance by Denison students. Please attend the Keynote Event, which is a student production directed by Patrisse Khan-Cullors, who is one of the founders of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. In this event, titled, “Power from the Mouths of the Occupied,” fellow Denisonians have written and produced narratives. This event will be held on Monday, January 23rd at 7pm in Swasey Chapel.
As you know, Thanksgiving Break is quickly approaching, and it is time to prepare your housing plans!
Crawford, East, Shaw, Curtis West, Shorney and Chamberlin are designated as break halls and will remain open during the Thanksgiving Break for approved students. All students who wish to remain on campus must complete a 2015 Thanksgiving Break Housing Application. Click here to Access the Break Housing Application. It is the responsibility of the Break Housing student to make arrangements with their host to get his/her room key PRIOR to the host’s departure from campus.
