Museum & Dinner

The students in the 2009-2010 Language and Culture House Program listened to Paul Hammond, a docent at the Columbus Museum of Art, who introduced them to Claude Monet’s “Saule Pleureur” (“Weeping Willow”), one of the museum’s prized possessions.  After visiting the museum, students then had lunch at Columbus’s French restaurant La Châtelaine, where they not only sampled the cuisine but were also treated to a visit by the chef, who explained to them the restaurant’s history and menu.  The Patti Foresman fund covered all the students’ expenses.
