And on the Fifth Day

No Impact Week is over. I realized that limiting my impact on the environment wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. Just doing the small things like walking rather than driving, turning off the lights, and asking for a grenne. Today was a breeze and it looks like I’m starting to keep some of these no impact habits from this week.

Day 4

Major sip up to start the day off. I knocked over a glass during breakfast and had to use the napkins to clean it up. Luckily not much spilt and I only had to about four napkins to clean the whole thing up. The rest of the day went well after that. Even with the cloud cover I used what sun was available to do my work rather than turn the lights on.

Day 3

Day three is going swimmingly. Not much to report in terms of anything new. I kept up with up my goal of a sub ten minute shower, no trash, and recycled everything. I’m glad I finally adjusted to the No Impact Week!!

Day 2

I achieved my shower time goal to ten minutes. I made sure to not eat at Slayter today, I only ate at Curtis for all my meals. I only charged my phone once the entire day and unplugged every other electronic in my room. So far I’m looking good at reaching my goal of only having three trash items for the week hopefully I can obtain this goal.

Day 1

Day one is the hardest. cutting shower time, remembering to turn the lights off, and so on can get to you. I’ve been careful to stop eating at slayter to reduce my trash and I’m now only eating meals at Curtis. I hope it gets easier from here on out.
