Day 5-Friday

I started the day off doing very well, but then lunch came. I went to the convocation and the participated in the demonstration after. My friend and I walked to Huffman, but it ended up being closed because they are getting ready for Aestavalia (not sure how you spell it). So I had to surrender to Slayter.

Day 4- Thursday

Today has been great so far! I woke up and then went to my psych lab. After lab, I went for a nice 4 mile run outside and came back and to took a nice 3 minute cold shower. I ate a super healthy lunch today, which I am very proud of. I had hummus, peppers, granola, cottage cheese, and a banana.

Day 3- Wednesday

Not having any lights in the room for the entire week is kind of hard, but it hasn’t been too bad. In fact, it’s been kind of fun to do. My roommate is being a good sport and hasn’t used the lights once either. My no impact week hasn’t been too hard, in general, I don’t tend to make too much trash.

Day 2- Tuesday

This morning was pretty easy, I never have breakfast so I don’t have to worry about waste or trash. In my Spanish lab, we did use the lights and computers, but the computers weren’t plugged in so I did not have to use my own laptop and plug it in. As I am writing this I am charging my laptop from 5%-100%, so that will take a lot of energy but I shouldn’t need to plug it in tomorrow.

Day 1- Monday

I woke up this morning knowing that it was no impact week. The night before, Sunday, I unplugged my desk lamp, plasma ball, fan, and my Bluetooth speaker charger. I promised myself that I would not use any of these for the entire week. In addition, I told my roommate that we are not going to be using any lights in our dorm room for the whole week.
