Day 5

It’s the last day of No Impact Week and I have done pretty well even though I have to blog earlier. this morning I woke up and turned off the power strips that I used during the night to charge my phone for the day and kept my lights off. My roommates are starting to get on the same page with me on turning the lights off when we don’t need them.

Day 4

Day 4 has not been that bad since it been such a nice day. This morning I had an apple and put it in my compost bag that I am going to give to Dr. Aguilar at the end of the week. I have been spending my time outside most of the day so I have not wasted any energy using lights.

Day 3

Day 3 has been rough. I have continued with my goal with not using the treadmill at Mitchell so today I decided to check out the bike trail in Granville which was really fun! But here is where my losses piled on. After my run, I had to pick up one of my prescriptions that I have been putting off getting for a while.

Day 2

Day 2 started messily. This morning I woke up late and without even thinking grabbed a yogurt cup from my fridge and ran out the door. I was halfway to my class when I realized that I had forgotten to get a spoon to eat my yogurt with during class. I contemplate how I would be able to eat my yogurt in the most civil way possible without a spoon.

Day 1

The first day of this week was disorganized but pretty successful. In the morning, after I got up, I unplugged all of the electronics that did not to be plugged in and turned off the power strip because I was not going to need it on while I was in classes all day. Next, I usually have a power bar for my breakfast, but I realized that the bar has a wrapper around it.
