Day 5 Blog Kate

So my last day has probably been my worst day so far. I have definitely had the lights on the most today. I also did not meet my shower goal on my last day. My shower today was 6 minutes long. The longest it has been all week. This is still shorter than my regular shower time of 10 minutes, but I never reached my goal of a three minute shower.

Day 4 Blog Kate

The hardest struggle of today has been that I want some snacks. Because it is cold outside and snowing I do not want to walk to town and pretty much all of the snacks I would want come wrapped in so much plastic that it is not worth ruining my NI week over. So I have to settle on my banana today again.

Day 3 Blog Kate

Day 3 has so far been the easiest day. I think today has been the easiest because I have been busy. I have spent virtually no time in my room which removes the temptation to eat packaged foods, use the lights, and watch Netflix. I kind of enjoying being out of my room cause I feel I’m more productive in spaces like the library.

Day 2 Blog Kate

Day 2 of my NI week has been a pretty good day so far. I was able to lower my shower time to 4 minutes. Although my shower goal is 3 minutes this is an improvement from yesterday’s time of 5 minutes. But my real problem today is what I was going to eat for snack.

Day 1 Blog Kate

My no impact first day was going really well until I went to shower. I usually take 10 minute showers because I find it relaxing. So today I played a song that was 3 minutes long to time my shower. Unfortunately my shower took 5 minutes which is progress, but is not my goal. So for the rest of the week my goal is to work on cutting down my shower time to 3 minutes.
