Paul (Yubo) Yang a current sophomore double Mathematics and Physics major was recently named an Anderson Scholar. Paul who is active in the mathematics department recently traveled to Washington, D.C. with Associate Professor Lew Ludwig to participate in the USA Science and Engineering Festival.
Each spring the Anderson Endowment, created by Reid ’38 and Polly Anderson, awards the Anderson Scholarship for Excellence in Science to top sophomore science majors at Denison. The award is a full tuition scholarship that supplements existing financial aid merit and/or need award that the student has up to the cost of full tuition. The scholarship is awarded for the student’s junior and senior year.
