| ETS is excited to share some valuable resources designed to support your teaching and enhance student success:
1. Affordable Content Course: You should have already received an invitation in Canvas to join the Affordable Content Course. Please take a moment to accept the invitation if you have not already. This course provides strategies and tools to transition to open resources and affordable content for your courses, empowering you to create an inclusive and cost-effective learning experience for your students. 2. Upcoming Tech Toolkit: Soon, you’ll receive access to a Canvas course called “Tech Toolkit.” This course has modules with technology lessons for students that you can easily copy into your own courses and customize. You’ll find tutorial lessons for popular technology tools, like Shorthand, Adobe Express, Adobe Audition, and Timeline. 3. Say My Name: With the first day of classes right around the corner, we also want to remind you of the Say My Name feature in Canvas. This allows you to hear how students prefer their names to be said, helping to foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment. To view their recordings, go into your Canvas Settings > Select Navigation > Drag ‘Student Name Recordings” up > and Click Save. You can also record your name, and it only takes a few seconds. |
