We have a new tool to see students’ writing processes called Revision History. This Chrome browser extension integrates with Google Docs and Slides to provide visibility into writing and revision patterns. Features include:
Revision history integrates with Canvas speedgrader by choosing “online” as submission type and “website URL” as the entry option. Students must also share the document/slides with their instructor. Importantly, we have contracted with Revision History so that Denison data are protected–it is the only ITS recommended writing process tool.
