The number ONE feature that will make your Canvas course faster to set up and easier for your students to navigate is……..modules. Organizing a course with modules not only helps students stay on track with expectations, but it also can help you keep track of what you are planning for each week, unit, or section of your course. There’s no need to show students the files or assignments pages in Canvas courses because you can present all the files and assignments within organized, focused modules. Speaking of Canvas, keep an eye out for Canvas sessions offered throughout spring 2023. ETS and Canvas consultants will be hosting sessions that dig into strategic and pedagogical best practices using Canvas. Our goal is for faculty to learn effective and efficient ways to leverage Canvas to support course objectives.
