| While you may be able to pronounce student names at this point in the semester, students may not yet know each other’s names. Did you know that students and instructors can record their names in Canvas so that classmates/instructors can hear how to pronounce their name?
Step by step instructions for Canvas student name recordings:
Now you will see “Student Name Recordings” in your course left menu bar. When you navigate to that page, you will see two tabs, “Recorded names” and “Unrecorded names.” Click on “Unrecorded names,” then “Remind all” in upper right to send an email to all students in your course asking them to record their name. Once they do, their recording will be visible under “Recorded names” to you and to fellow students. |
