Hello everyone! My name is Phoenix, and I, alongside being a Global Ambassador, am a senior Studio Art major and Education minor! As someone who grew up in a small town in the countryside of Maine, I love being a Global Ambassador because I get to interact with people from all over the world. I love learning new things, especially when it comes to learning about different cultures and all the aspects of them. I actually just got back from a semester abroad in South Korea, which was absolutely incredible. I am planning on going back to Korea as I just applied for a Fulbright scholarship to teach English there, so wish me luck!
Other than that, I have a ton of interests both creatively and in terms of hobbies and academics. I love creative writing, drawing, playing tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons, and also creating my own games (I’m working on a trading card game). I grew up on a farm, so I know how to ride horses, garden, and identify trees. I also play a ton of video games and actually commentated professional eSports for three years. Finally, I play volleyball on the club team, and I love learning languages and cooking! If you know any really good recipes from where you’re from, I’d love to try and make them!
