On February 12th, the annual Winterfest event with a Lunar New Year edition took place on all floors of Slayter Union. The event’s activities for students included ice skating, dorm decoration making with stuffed animals and street signs, and a special dinner hosted by Asian Culture Club (ACC), Denison Asian Student Union (DASU), and University Programming Council (UPC).

Like everyone in the world right now, Denison Vail Series is pivoting to a virtual presence for its 41st annual season starting in Fall 2020. Vail Series celebrates over four decades of presenting world-class artists and ensembles to the Denison community.

The holidays call for quality time spent with friends and family, authentic food, and a celebration of culture, but international students at Denison don’t always have the luxury to do so. Lucky enough for the Denison community, the Asian Culture Club (ACC), in collaboration with Global China Connection (GCC), hosted a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration embracing this traditional Asian holiday and bringing the community together.
