With over 300 program options to choose from, making the decision of where you’ll study abroad is not an easy one. And it’s for good reason: each program offers something unique–different, languages, and cultures, and places around the globe. And while the websites- full of course catalogs, excursion details, and program summaries – give you a taste of what your semester will be like, it’s hard to decide which location/program is right for you just from words and pictures on a screen.

The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted international travel on an unprecedented scale. The U.S. Department of State suspended routine visa services worldwide in March 2020 due to the pandemic. International students seeking to obtain F-1 visas to enter the U.S. found themselves stranded as embassies and consulates worldwide closed for unknown durations. Additionally, the Presidential Proclamation establishing travel restrictions for non-immigrant travelers from Brazil, China, and Iran has been in effect since January 2020 and has not yet been suspended.
Denison Student Organizations Partner Up for Lunar New Year

On February 12th, the annual Winterfest event with a Lunar New Year edition took place on all floors of Slayter Union. The event’s activities for students included ice skating, dorm decoration making with stuffed animals and street signs, and a special dinner hosted by Asian Culture Club (ACC), Denison Asian Student Union (DASU), and University Programming Council (UPC).
