Hi there! My name is Abzal Iskakov, and I’m a senior at Denison studying Economics and Global Commerce. Last semester I chose to study abroad in Shanghai, China, where I had one of the best experiences of my life. As someone who had never visited China before, studying abroad in Shanghai was full of fun and cultural immersion.

She mentioned the urge to immerse herself in different cultures and to find out about places that are different from her own, was a significant drive for the abroad journey.

Hello! This is Alex Carlton, a rising senior majoring in Global Health and Spanish. This past Spring I was able to study abroad in Madrid, Spain with IES. I absolutely adored Madrid and this program was better than I could have ever imagined. Living with a host family was daunting at first, but it became an incredibly valuable experience.
